Mr. Tran Huu Linh, General Director of the General Department of Market Management (Ministry of Industry and Trade), said that the showroom will open in November 2022 to prepare for the peak of the year-end and New Year and the Lunar New Year.

Market management has a peak plan against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, imitation goods, food safety.

In particular, in anti-counterfeiting work, the market management force predicts that after the COVID-19 epidemic passes, inventories, counterfeit goods, counterfeit goods and contraband goods will return to the market.

In the first 9 months of 2022, the amount of counterfeit goods on the market is quite large, concentrated in many big cities. Therefore, at the peak of the Lunar New Year and the Lunar New Year 2023, the market management forces continue to promote the prevention of counterfeit goods to serve consumers to celebrate Tet safely.

“We focus on inspecting and controlling key areas in big cities and craft villages, but in the fight against fake and counterfeit goods, the inspection and handling is just to solve the top problem. The important thing is how to propagate people and shoppers to know how to avoid it. Therefore, we have implemented many propaganda and dissemination programs, especially maintaining a showroom of fake goods to help people raise awareness against counterfeiting,” said Mr. Tran Huu Linh.
