Representatives of the leaders of the Department of Science and Technology (right) handing over the certificate of trademark registration to the leaders of Binh Gia District People’s Committee
On the afternoon of November 17, Binh Gia District People’s Committee held a ceremony to receive the diploma of collective brand “Binh Gia Lap Rib”.
Lap ribs is a traditional dish that has existed for a long time in Binh Gia district. Currently, the whole district has more than 30 households regularly producing pork ribs, with output from 500 to 700 kg/household/year, with selling price from 170,000 to 220,000 VND/kg.
With the goal of improving the value of pork ribs in Binh Gia district, on May 31, 2021, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Inforest Investment Joint Stock Company signed a contract to implement the project “Building a label” collective brand for Binh Gia Rib Lap products”.
On October 24, 2022, Binh Gia rib sausage was granted a certificate of collective trademark registration by the National Office of Intellectual Property – Ministry of Science and Technology in Decision No. 93971/QD-SHTT.
